What began as a personal struggle in 2020 became a mission to help others create their families. After experiencing the emotional and financial challenges of fertility treatments firsthand, we knew there had to be a gentler, more accessible way forward.

After years of testing and identifying what’s been missing in the fertility space, we created the UK’s first purpose-designed home insemination kit made with genuine care. About our Founder

I’m Rachel the proud founder of Tily Blooms and the author of The Fertility Handbook. My journey to becoming a solo mother began in 2020—a path filled with challenges, heartbreak, and determination. It was this deeply personal experience that sparked the creation of Tily Blooms, a space dedicated to empowering others on their trying-to-conceive (TTC) journey.
When I decided to pursue motherhood on my own, I was overwhelmed by the lack of thoughtful and supportive resources for home insemination. The kits I found felt impersonal and clinical, containing poor-quality tools like short-barrel syringes and clinical & vague instruction sheets, leaving me to piece together the rest on my own.
After multiple attempts and heartbreaks, I turned to the expensive IVF process as a solo mum, bearing the emotional and financial burden myself. My perseverance eventually paid off when, after my fifth and final embryo, I welcomed my beautiful little girl into the world.
Through this journey, I couldn’t stop thinking: “What if the right tools and support had been available from the start? Would my experience have been less stressful, less isolating?” That question became the foundation for Tily Blooms.
Tily Blooms is my passion project, designed to provide others with the resources I wish I had—kits and tools that are comprehensive, supportive, and designed with care.
From journals and trackers to colouring in books and complete insemination kits, every product is created with the goal of easing the stress of the TTC journey. I believe stress plays a critical role in fertility, and I’m committed to helping others navigate this journey with hope, confidence, and as much peace as possible.
Whether you’re just beginning your TTC journey or have been on this path for a while, I’m here to support you. I’ve walked this road and know how difficult it can be, but I also know the incredible joy that could be waiting the end of it.
